In our second year of partnership with LeShawn Holcomb’s Griot Theater Company we produced Liberating of the Shrew, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew. This was both a piece pf devised theater and a jukebox musical making it one of the most dynamic shows of our 22-23 season. Our students wrote many scenes together, while LeShawn directed their focus towards the most pressing issues facing young people today.
