By William Shakespeare, Directed By Ben Cleaveland and Sarah Mckereghan

Macbeth directed by Ben Cleaveland examines the strength of a man as he battles his own fate, motivated by his dangerously ambitious wife as they drive themselves to the brink in their power-hungry search for glory. Themes of loyalty, fate, and (in)sanity drive the story throughout intense battles and unique physical moments choreographed by Julianna Rees which gives the story an artistic feel that works well with the inherent violence of the story.

Macbeth cast enjoys time together
Twelfth Night directed by Sarah Mckereghan follows the story of Viola, separated from her twin brother Sebastian. In a man’s world in which a young maiden is unsafe on her own, she disguises herself as a man and begins working for the Duke Orsino whom she falls in love with– although he has eyes for someone else. A complicated love triangle arises between the three, which only becomes more confusing as Sebastian returns. A play comprised of funny quips with a modern twist, this comedy paired with the tragedy of Macbeth adds a balance that contrasts the violence with unique humor elevated by the direction and technical elements for both shows.
